How to import a Canva or scanned illustration into a Google Slides presentation using a Chromebook:
To capture:
Make sure the image is open on your screen
At the same time, hold down the control + shift + switch window key (it's in the top row, sixth from the left on most)
When you let go, a crosshair will appear in place of the cursor - drag it around the image you want to capture. You may need to capture your item in more than one screenshot.
When the pop-up window opens automatically, click on 'show in folder', then drag the image to 'My Drive'
To import to Google Slides
Open your group's presentation and go to the slide on which you want to place it
Click on the Insert menu and highlight 'image'
When your Google Drive pops up, find the screenshot and double-click for it to be added to your presentation
Submit the link to your completed presentation no later than 8 a.m. Monday morning using this Google Form; don't forget to look over the rubric!
Go over Research and Sources tracker - if you'd like to type on this document, feel free to make a copy of it and share it back with Ms. Russow and/or Mr. O'Brien
